Dr. Carole Anne Hapchyn

Psychiatrist, Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health
Dr. Hapchyn is an infant and early childhood psychiatrist who has provided assessment and treatment for infants and preschool children with mental health and developmental disorders for 30 years. She was a psychiatrist at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital. She is the Past President of the Alberta Association for Infant Mental Health, a society for the education of clinicians and advocacy for infant mental health. Dr. Hapchyn is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta.
Dr. Brandene Lorrain
MD, FRCPC
Psychiatrist, Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health
Dr. Lorrain is an infant and early childhood psychiatrist who has worked collaboratively with various multidisciplinary infant teams in Edmonton since 2008. Prior to that she worked with infants, children and adolescents in Red Deer, Alberta for seven years. Dr. Lorrain has been providing innovative infant mental health consultation services to the Royal Alexandra Hospital NICU since 2012 and David Schiff NICU since 2015. Dr. Lorrain is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry.
Dr. Christina Maslo

Dr. Maslo loved growing in the Edmonton community and completed her medical school and psychiatry residency training here. She graduated from the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Subspecialty Residency Program at the University of Alberta in June 2021. She has a special interest in infant and preschool mental health and joined the ElmTree practice in Fall 2021. Teaching and education are an avid interest and she currently sits on the U of A Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Subspecialty Residency Program Committee.
Dr. Bernice Prinsloo
MBChB, MRCPsych, FRCPC
Psychiatrist, Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health
Dr. Prinsloo completed her medical training in South Africa, where she worked in obstetrics and psychiatry before moving to Ireland in 2008 to complete training in child and adolescent psychiatry. She worked in community children’s mental health and youth addiction services in Ireland before moving to Canada, where she’s worked in community children’s mental health clinics in Edmonton since 2017. She joined ElmTree Clinic in late 2019. Dr. Prinsloo is a Clinical Lecturer in Psychiatry at the University of Alberta.
